Our Third Successive Year

This years Johnny Herbert Karting Challenge returns to Capital Karts in East London for a third successive year with our usual well loved format of entered teams racing along side celebrity drivers from the world of motor racing and entertainment.

Johnny’s charity karting event has been running since 1994 and has raised a lot of much needed cash for various charities such as Sparks – The Kidney Research fund – Air Ambulance Units -The Harry Birrell Scholarship Trust and The Halow Project which benefitted from the last two previous years events at Capital Karts.

Up to 24 teams of up to six drivers will take part in a 1 hour qualifier followed by a 3 hour endurance kart race for a donation of £850 which will include catering for drivers.

The date of 6th December has been chosen to coincide with The Autosport Awards that takes place in the evening also in London. Spectator passes and food packages also available on request.

This year we will be raising funds for ‘KartForce’ (Karting for Injured Troops) of which Johnny Herbert and Damon Hill OBE are patrons.
