After a very successful first 18 months Capital Karts is now a multi award winning go karting track thanks to the latest Barking and Dagenham chamber of commerce awards. In 2014 Capital Karts won the Barking and Dagenham new business of the year award and went on to win the 2015 East London new business of the year award.
This year Capital Karts was shortlisted for a further two awards with the Barking and Dagenham Digital Impact Award for online branding and social media marketing a key element in the success they have brought to the business. Secondly the business growth award for establishing the venue as the benchmark for a profitable indoor go karting track in the UK.
The awards show which was held at Dagenham and Redbridge football club featured over 200 people from local businesses and the multi award winning go karting track had the Business Development Manager John Kerr present to pick up the awards. John added “Winning these awards means a great deal to the company and after winning multiple awards last year from the local borough and the whole of East London it was immensely difficult to imagine a better year this year. We have gone from strength to strength and its great from a personal point of view that our digital impact has been recognised as it is such a core aspect of the success we have had.”
The award winning go karting track has also achieved the Trip Advisor certificate of excellence award last month and John joked after receiving the second award “I have informed our directors that they have to get us a trophy cabinet for the venue as the awards are stacking up in the office. I would like to thank all of our customers for their great feedback in helping us create and better our venue and also to everyone who voted for us to win. We have great improvements coming over the next 18 months which I am sure you will all love.”
Alastair Flynn Director at Capital Karts added his thoughts to the win “We always set up Capital Karts to be the best karting track in the UK and these awards are further testament to how well we are achieving that.”
