Capital Karts has become the first indoor karting circuit in the world to have 360 degree filming onboard footage with the all new Oculus Rift. The footage below gives the user the ability to control where they look and all you have to do is click and drag to look up, down or wherever you want.

The new product which has just been bought by Facebook in a $2 billion deal seems as though it could be the future of social media filming.

For best viewing use a desktop PC or laptop to control the angle.

Capital Karts go karting London has had various unique film shoots at the circuit with the 360 degree filming on board footage following on from the Road-Stars film shoot and new Ladbrokes commercial which is launching soon.

Corporate Events Manager Luke Caudle said “The 360 degree filming onboard footage is the latest in a long list of unique opportunities that has presented itself to us. We are hopeful for many more over the coming years as our unique venue seems to be a preferred choice for anyone wanting to film go karting London”

Capital Karts have also now launched their Go-Pro hire for customers who want to get helmet cam footage of their own racing experience. The hire of these cameras is £20 on the day of your event. Customers will get their footage uploaded on to Youtube automatically which can be shared on Twitter, Facebook etc.
